Anthony
Jackson

Anthony grew up in Mt Alford, attended Boonah High School and then headed to Brisbane to complete his 4 year Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland.

Following a 2 year New-Graduate Program at Optima Sports Medicine, Anthony made the most of any opportunity to work and travel and has bounced around between Brisbane, Melbourne, London, Cardiff and most recently the Gold Coast. He spent the first 10 years of his career working in musculoskeletal and sports physio roles as well as holding orthopaedic positions at the Royal Gwent in Wales, and both St Ann's and Whittington Hospitals in London.

The last 3 years have seen a dramatic change of direction, as the demands of a young family lead Anthony to transition into mobile rehabilitation where he has provided care to neurological patients, including Stroke, Acquired Brain Injury, Parkinson's, Cerebral Palsy and Multiple Sclerosis patients among others.

Outside of his clinical work, Anthony is very happily married (and punching above his weight), has a young, growing family and enjoys keeping active. You might see him cycling or running around town, swimming laps at the local pool or throwing weights around in the gym.
